Emergency Medicine Residency Program

Program Director
Founded in 2017, the FAU Emergency Medicine Residency offers a unique combination of personalized mentorship, exceptional clinical training, and proven career outcomes. Our small class size and outstanding faculty to resident ratio allow residents to build meaningful relationships with faculty who are deeply invested in their professional and personal growth.
Residents train across three diverse sites, including two Level I Trauma Centers and a community hospital, gaining extensive experience in high volume, high acuity, unopposed emergency care with abundant procedural opportunities. A balanced faculty of academic and community physicians provides broad perspectives on the practice of emergency medicine, while longitudinal curricula in ultrasound, trauma, EMS, research, and critical care prepare residents for a wide range of career paths. Our graduates consistently secure their first choice fellowships and job placements, all within a program that prioritizes wellness, camaraderie, and life in South Â̲èÖ±²¥.
