Kevin Cresswell, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. He has a Ph.D. in Geosciences from Â̲èÖ±²¥ Atlantic University (focus: human-environment interactions, GIS) and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning also from Â̲èÖ±²¥ Atlantic University (specialization: environmental planning). His research interests include environmental hazards, urban health, environmental justice, and urban heat islands.

He has upwards of a decade experience working with geographic information systems and has completed GIS projects for various organizations including Â̲èÖ±²¥ Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and First Street. Dr. Cresswell has worked on grants for The Nature Conservancy and National Science Foundation, and he is a former research assistant at FAU’s Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions.
