Caren Neile is founding director of the South Â̲èÖ±²¥ Storytelling Project. Neile’s teaching and research are in the fields of Intercultural, Cultural and Rhetorical Communication Studies. Her research emphasizes peace and tolerance building, conflict transformation, health and well-being (particularly with regard to the elderly) and culture performance. Her numerous publications include essays in A Beginner’s Guide to Storytelling and Entremundos: New Perspectives on the Life and Work of Gloria Anzaldua, and the book Hidden: A Sister and Brother in Nazi Poland. She is a 2005 National Storytelling Network Oracle Award winner.
